Botanically, although coffee seeds are called beans; they actually are not classified as beans. They are merely the seeds of a coffee plant which belongs to Rubiaceae family. These are small trees (shrubs), found in Africa and some parts in Asia. These beans are the main ingredient of coffee. It is now are mass cultivated all over the world because of its high demand to consumers. It is in fact considered as a prime commodity and the second highly traded in the world.

Recipe #1:
We will need ½ cup of chocolate chips and 1/3 cup of roasted coffee beans.
In a saucepan, melt the chocolate until it reaches a smooth consistency. Drop the beans into the pan and stir them constantly. Scoop them out of the pan and set them out on a waxed paper. Remember to keep separate before it dries up. Once everything is set in place let it dry and harden overnight (if you are in a hurry you can freeze them for 30 minutes). Once it is dry, seal in an air-tight container.
Recipe #2:
We need 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 cup of roasted coffee beans, and 4 ounces of chocolate chips.
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan, just like in Recipe#1. Let them dry for a while but do not let them harden completely. Roll the beans in the cocoa powder and set them away to harden and dry completely.
If you prefer to make it bitterer, you can also try making dark chocolate covered coffee beans by using dark chocolate instead of the ordinary one. If you do not want to make one yourself, these beans are readily available in some coffee store where you can just buy these chocolate covered coffee beans in bulk.
